Our Patented Carbon Filature Process
Unique and patented, NEOFIBRE Conductive Fiber’s carbon filature process make the outer skin of PET fiber with electrically conductive carbon particles. The carbon becomes part of the structure of the fiber, which retains the strength and flexibility of the terylene while maintaining excellent conductivity. These characteristics make it ideal for mechanical, chemical, and thermal manufacturing processes.
Our SUPRAMTM carbon fiber products range in resistivity from 104 to 106 ohms per centimeter, depending on denier and filament count. This conductive fiber controls electrostatic discharge and conducts low voltage currents without posing the hazard of electric shock.
