China Spandex Market Daily (18 Jan 2011)

CCF Spandex Price Index
Spandex 20D: 80,000yuan　
Spandex 30D: 70,000yuan　
Spandex 40D: 60,000yuan

Spandex market remained steadily fluctuating. Spandex 20D, 30D and 40D price was pegged at 80000yuan/mt, 70000yuan/mt and 60000yuan/mt, respectively. New offers carried out the update price.

Spandex sales
Spandex sales remained weak in new offers and stock-up was a bit stalemate. Weaving plants focused on after-year purchasing. Spandex producers'inventory was relatively lower, after previous de-stocking.

Downstream market
O/R of weaving plants gradually declined and most plants scheduled vacation plan next week. Some of them took high O/R.

Outlook
Spandex producers' inventory declined and its price may remain shivering.
