China-made ACN: 18,700-19,400yuan/mt, ex-works
Spot ACN: 19,400-19,500yuan/mt, ex-tanks
ACN spot market held stable with weak trading sentiment. Mainstream prices stayed at 19500yuan/mt, ex-tanks, with some talked lower. Traders were in stable mood.
Northern ACN producers kept stable operation. As acrylic fiber and ABS plants were running at high capacities, ACN plants had large amount of contracted sales while their spot supply was limited.
Cotton type ASF 1.5D: 23,300-23,800yuan/mt
ASF 3D: 23,000-23,450yuan/mt
Acrylic tow 3D: 23,150-23,700yuan/mt
Acrylic top 3D: 24,050-24,700yuan/mt by cash, ex-East China
Acrylic fiber transactions were stable. Backed by rebounding cotton, viscose, PSF and cotton yarn markets, the sentiment in acrylic fiber market was not bad and prices held stable.
Acrylic yarn plants kept running rates unchanged but sales were relatively difficult as many plants would start holiday for Spring Festival. Thus yarn inventories were increasing and prices dropped slightly. Cotton type acrylic yarn was mostly traded at 30000-31200yuan/mt, cashmere-like acrylic yarn at 31000-31500yuan/mt. Demand for the latter was moderate.
