CPL & Nylon 6 Chip Market Morning Express (Dec 31, 2010)

CPL
On USD spot market, few offers are heard, but there are still some inquires. Bids are at around $2950/mt or slightly lower. With the New Year Holiday approaching, sellers prefer to hold cargoes and few discussions are seen.

On RMB market, Sinopec offers its Jan CPL contracts at 24000yuan/mt, ex-works, by acceptance.

Nylon 6 chips
Higher-grade China-made high speed spinning chips are previously traded at 26500-26800yuan/mt and producers suspend offering due to fast rising cost. High speed spinning chips in Jiangsu are offered at 26000yuan/mt and traded at 25700-25800yuan/mt with moderate sales.

In East China, bright conventional spinning staple fiber and monofilament chips are offered at 25600-26000yuan/mt and traded at 25500-25600yuan/mt.
