PTA
The offers are rare in PTA market this morning. A few Taiwan origin goods are quoted at $1210/mt, while Korea goods at $1200/mt or higher. The transactions are at around $1195/mt. In China domestic market, the offers increase to 9650-9700yuan/mt, but the buyers’ bids are not very high. The market sentiment remains firm and the traded prices are around 9600-9620yuan/mt as the selling intention below this level is weak.
MEG
Offers for MEG in China domestic market are rare and most suppliers show little interest to offer. Most offers for small volumes cargos are at 8600yuan/mt but few buyers take offers. In import market, offers are also limited with a few at $1100/mt. Most suppliers have little intention to sell goods, though several traders bid at $1085/mt or higher. Transactions may be concluded at $1090/mt or higher, most of which are for forward cargos.
