China : Fengze likely to become children clothing city |

In a bid to gain the status of Children Clothing City, Fengze District Government has formally applied to China Textile and Clothing Industry Association, which will monitor the quality of children clothing industry of district this month.
Based in Quanzhou city, Fengze district produces 95 million pieces of children clothes a year; the district occupies 20 percent of total domestic output.
Yearly export value of children clothes is more than RMB3 billion and its major export destinations are EU, the US, Africa, Japan, Middle-east and Southeast Asia.
To speed up local children clothing industry development, Fengze Government has also designed a progress chart of children clothing industry, and will establish Fengze Children Clothing Net.
