Yiwu H & G 2005 Based in Yiwu, Facing the World

(Hong Kong, Jun 27, 2005) The 6th Yiwu International Exhibition on Hosiery & Garment Industries (also known as Yiwu H & G 2005) will be held again at the China Commodity Exhibition Centre of Yiwu, Zhejiang, PR China on November 2 – 4, 2005. The show is based in Yiwu & has been growing with the knitting industry of Yiwu.
 
Locating in the middle of Zhejiang Province, around 3.5 hour drive from Shanghai, Yiwu is a renowned industrial base for socks & shirts. In the year 2004, the total industrial output of Yiwu amounted to RMB 49.253 billion, total transaction amount in the market reached RMB 32.49 billion. In recent years, Yiwu has already imported lots of advanced machineries from abroad. Over 30,000 hosiery knitting machines were bought & 2,000 computerized jacquard machineries were introduced to upgrade the overall competitiveness of the knitting industries. The next step is to build up their own brand name & target to export the products to the rest of the world.

To cater to the fast growing demand of the market, and to enhance the result of visiting, the show will cover a range of exhibits. Promoting the one-stop solution concept, exhibits from fibre & yarn, knitting & hosiery machinery, braiding & zipper weaving machinery, garment & sewing machinery will be displayed in the fairground. To help exhibitors better understand the market, market visit & factory visit will continue to be arranged. Overseas exhibitors welcomed this interactive arrangement as this activity allows them to understand the market and talk to local end-users in-depth.

Exhibitors of the show have a special passion on the Yiwu market. Up to now, 70% of the fairground is booked by past exhibitors. Renowned suppliers include Alome, Beijing Yalong, Boo Seong, Chemtax & its Italian principles (including Flainox, Matec, Menegatto, Santoni, Tecnopea etc), Da Kong, Dah Heer, Jakob Mueller, Jun Run & Korea Hyung Jae, Ming Hui, Nan Sing, S-Tec, Sangiacomo, Shantou Guanye, Tae Ho, Taiwan Kyang Yhe, Win Win & Shima Seiki, Wuxi Kingsun etc. Some of them will also display their new hosiery & underwear knitting machineries that will attract the eyes of the visitors.

Yiwu H & G 2005 is organized by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Zhejiang Sub-Council, China Commodity City Group Co., Ltd. and Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd. The Show also receives substantial support from China Commodity City Exhibition Centre, Zhejiang International Exhibition Centre, China Chamber of International Commerce Yiwu Chamber of Commerce, Yiwu City Garment Industry Association and Yiwu City Zipper Industry Association.
