Its pay hike for DuPont’s top notch professional who realized sale of its loss making Invista textiles division.
The company board appreciating his efforts gave Chief Executive Charles Holliday a pay raise and a $2.4 million bonus for 2004.
Holliday got a raise from $1.118 million to $1.255 million.
Under his stewardship, the company recorded a fine sales growth matched with result oriented cost-control efforts.
Holliday had his last raise of 3 percent in January 2003 worth $1.3 million bonus. Besides, he also was awarded 300,000 stock options and 70,000 performance-based restricted stock units for 2004. |
