CHINA: Textile Exports Grow 25.9% In Q1 |

Exports of yarn, fabric and textile products from China have reached US$6.75 billion for the first quarter, an increase of 25.9 per cent year-on-year according to statistical data released this week.
Similarly, exports of garments and apparel from China rose 24 per cent year-on-year for the first quarter to US$12.06bn.
Earlier this year, China began implementing a new export drawback policy to cut the drawback ratio on textile exports from 17 per cent to 13 per cent, and from 13 per cent to 11 per cent, leading to rising costs for exporters.
