Turkey : Istanbul Gets Ready For The Leather Fair Golden Horn

While hosting the most important leather garments fair of the world, Istanbul is preparing for the natural leather fair now.

Istanbul Natural Leather Fair-Golden Horn to be held simultaneously with the ILD as of 2004 will open to world markets the Turkish leather and the related industries entering the international markets with high quality leathers.

Turkiye known as the leather country is being prepared to conquest the world markets also with its high quality leathers.

While the International Leather Days where all kinds of leather and the leather products from A to Z are displayed starts to look like focused on the leather garment, fashion and finished goods, the leather and the related industries is channeling into the natural leather fair to be held under the name of the "Golden Horn". That leather has stand out as the major material in the ILD in recent years brought the necessity of departing from the apparel.

Together with this departing from the ILD entering the growth trend as of the beginning of the 2000s in terms of both the exhibitor and the visitor, the leather and the related industries will take its part in the specialized Golden Horn Fair as of 2004.

At the Golden Horn to be held simultaneously with the ILD between January 8-10, 2004, all kinds of natural leather, leather for garment, leather for shoes, stout leather, leather for bags, leather for upholstery and fancy products and the sub-products will show themselves.

In the Golden Horn launched as the "Natural leather fair" versus artificial leather, only all kind of natural leather, leather for garments, leather for shoes, leather for leather goods, and for the upholstery will be exhibited. Among the target markets of the fair there are the neighboring markets of Turkiye, the former USSR markets, the Balkans, the East Europe, Russia, the Caucasians, the East Mediterranean countries, the USA, Canada, and the Far East.

While especially the neighboring countries have become the target markets for Turkish producers the foreign natural leather and the sub-products producers also will be able to make contact with these markets.
