Germany : Hugo Boss Enjoys Surge In Womenswear Orders

 Leading German fashion house Hugo Boss AG on Tuesday revealed overall orders for its 2004 spring and summer collections were flat but demand for its women''s lines was strong.

The company said orders for its women''s fashions were 18 per cent ahead of last year but demand for its menswear collections was down two per cent on the year-ago period.
