Flokser Group was established in 1986 in Istanbul and now it is one of the leading companies in the world in the manufacturing and export of coated fabrics, man-made leather and flocked fabrics (nylon velvet). The factory built on 105,000 m2 area is an integrated facility with a high technology machine park.
Flokser Group has 3 plants according to the type of the production. POLISER, SUETSER and DOKSER. Poliser produces PU/PVC coated fabrics, man-made leather, nonwoven and knitted fabrics; Süetser makes flocked fabrics (also called nylon velvet) and suede products; and Dokser makes woven fabrics.
There are more than 1000 employees working at the production centers of the company and more than 250 are administrative or technical personnel. Flokser has a highly trained labour power, and has proven its world class quality by receiving ISO 9001 certificate in 1999. Serving the customer with the highest quality products and services is the priority in Flokser Group, and it is a member of the most important international institutions of the industry, SATRA, American Flock Association and German Flock Association.
Flokser Group continuously invests in technology and the total annual capacity of its production facilities is 30 million meters (including coated fabrics, man-made leather and flocked fabrics) and it is one of the leading coated fabrics producers in the world. Customers choose Flokser because of the product quality, competitive prices, high production capacity and new product development capabilities, and the dynamic sales and marketing team is helping to become a leader in the Turkish and world markets. The company is exporting products to 52 countries in 5 different continents and the total exports of more than 24 million US Dollars achieved in 2000 was awarded by the İstanbul Textile and Clothing Exporters Union with a certificate of leadership.
Flokser Group works with the customers who are leaders in upholstery, clothing and shoes in the world markets and it has opened sales and marketing offices in Europe and USA to be able to respond to customer needs more quickly. Offices in Europe are, Flokser UK, Flokser Spain and Flokser Germany, while the Flokser USA serves the America. These offices provide better and faster services to our current customers and carries out promotional activities for potential customers. |
