Shangdong brocade is the shortened name of the Southwest Shandong folk brocade. It is a unique handmade folk jacquard texture of the pure cotton in Shandong Province. Shandong brocade has a very long history. In Yuan and Ming Dynasty, with the widespread plantation of the cotton in Yellow River basin, people in southwest of Shandong fused the traditional weaving xraftwork of arrowroot, hemp and silk into cotton-knitting and formed the unique cotton brocade of Southwest Shandong. The weaving of Shandong-brocade needs 72 working procedure. Its 22 kinds of being regarded as amazing variety of patterns and wonderful workmanship.
Since 1995 “Jing-Yi-Fang” Shandong-brocade has won the consumer’s favor with high quality and distinctive cultural feature. The products has and the only research and development base of the tourism commercial products in Shandong province. The company possesses one thousand looms and three thousand workers.
