Nantong Suzhong Textile Co.,Ltd, founded in June, 1976, transferred its system into the privately operated enterprise in 1998. It mainly engages in weaving thread and producing yarns. It now has 47 million Yuan fixed asset with 880 staffs and 81 engineers and technicians. It also has 55,000 cotton yarn spindles and more than 4,000 doubling spindles. The company area is 33,000 square meters, its annual annual production yarn 1. 30,000 tons, the output value, sells the exceed 200 million Yuan.
All the products that the company produces are according to the international standard, the national standard, the enterprise standard and the user's required specifications. At present the company's product mainly divide into eight big kinds: 1. Ecru polyester yarn series; 2. Colored polyester yarn series; 3. Polyester cotton blended spinning series; 4.Polyester-viscose blended yarn; 5.Polyester fibre sewing thread series; 6. Hemp gray yarn series; 7. Ramie cotton blended yarn series; 8.Acrylic bulked yarn series.
The company produced silk class blended yarn and the alpaca yarn have won the Nantong City's Science and Technology Progress Prize and the City Outstanding New Product title. The company has already passed the ISO9001: 2000 international quality control system authentication. In 2001, it was examined and approved as the Privately Operated Science and Technology Enterprise of Jiangsu Province; the Qualified Measurement Unit; the AAA level Credit Enterprise; the City (county) Cultured and Civilized Unit; the Credit Enterprise of Strictly Abides by Contracts; and the fixed-point production enterprise of the nationality goods awarded by the State Council. In July, 2003, the two projects of "the textile spinning process research on Alpaca yarn " and "the polyester-viscose hemp gray yarn's development and research" gained the Certificate of Appraisal of the Scientific and Technological Achievements which was issued by the Science and Technology Agency of Jiangsu Province. And in January, 2004, the " Polyester-viscose hemp gray yarn's development and research" project won the Jiangsu Province Torch Plan's project establishment certificate by the Science and Technology Agency of Jiangsu Province.
