When in 1955 Giuseppe Miroglio founded Vestebene, which subsequently became the Garments Division of the Miroglio Group, he already foresaw its success. He could not, however, have imagined quite how successful it would be.
Sensing that the company's crucial development would come from the garments sector, he dedicated himself to the creation of a factory for the production of ready-to-wear clothing. The first product was a pretty frock put on sale at one thousand lire.
From 1972 Giuseppe's sons, Carlo and Franco, began expanding on international markets, following a policy of acquiring manufacturers abroad and opening new plants.
Today Vestebene is one of the leading European companies in the garments sector, producing more than 14 million garments a year and exporting throughout the world.
