Approved by Qingdao municipal government and Chengyang district government, Qingdao Cotton Trade Fair (hereinafter referred to as "Cotton Fair"), run by Qingdao kailong Textile Material Logistics Co., Ltd, is the only large modern cotton trade fair dealing with textile materials like cotton wool and chemical fiber in area of Shandong.
Located at the intersection of Shuangyuan Road and Zhengyang Road in Chengyang District, the Cotton Fair enjoys advantages of transportation. The area of 103 mu is divided into trade area and stock area. The trade area, which is 15 mu, has trade office building of 2,200 square meters and is equipped with advanced facilities for office work and communications, as well as a market information center to enable computer network management on the trade, stock, distribution and billing of commodity. The stock area is 88 mu, which has 14 indoors storehouses of accumulatively 12,800 square meters and 17,500 square meters warehouse, 400 square meters fire protection pool with complete advanced fire protection equipment. The Cotton Fair has cement road of 16,000 square meters and greening space of 20,000 square meters. With construction investment of RMB 27 million, the Cotton Fair has a shipment of 50,000 tons, annual turnover of RMB 1 billion and annual profit & tax of RMB10 million.
-Exhibition & Trade. The Cotton Fair can be used for large scale spot transaction exhibition provincial and nationwide, in which cotton dealers can set up sites for spot transaction.
-Information Exchange: As the workstation for nationwide cotton trade and monitoring station of the state cotton market system, the Cotton Fair will take advantage of promote synchronous networked operation with sate level cotton trade fairs in Beijijng and Zhengzhou to acquire market information home and abroad in form of membership.
-Stock and Delivery. The Cotton Fair provides stock lease service and has built its transportation motorcade specializing in cotton delivery and distribution to enable convenient customer service and transportation cost reduction. Currently, the municipal government of Qingdao is actively applying for the Cotton Fair the hosting of Qingdao business transaction base of Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange, business transaction base of Beijing Cotton Electronic Matching Market and bonded warehouse, which will significantly improve the customer convenience for trade in spot, electronic matching and futures market.
-Online trade. The Cotton Fair will set up information center with specialized equipment and will design identification card for electronic matching trade to enable direct online trade between suppliers and buyers. Secondly, the website of the fair will release supply and demand information globally and build BBS for in-time customer communication for better service.
-Financing. The Cotton Fair will cooperate with banks to set up offices in the fair, providing a new financing channel for cotton dealers in this center with Warehouse Reciept Hythecation, a modern financing measure.
