JiangSu Shenghong Chemical Fiber Co; Ltd(SHCF) is a joint venture established by Shenghong Group,the holding company and Macao Sun Kian IP Group in December 2002 SHCF,with the registered capital amounting to 75 million dollars , mainly produces chemical fiber and its raw materials. In March 2003,SHCF started to construct the first phase of chemical fiber project which is to produce polyester (PET) and special fiber.
nSHCF is located at Shengze Wujiang, Jiangsu province.The site is next to the jinghang canal,easily accessible.Shengze was one of the four famous silk towns in ancient China.At the Ming and Qing dynasty,it owned its glory.Nowadays,Shengze’s textile industry has made full development.Shengze and its surrounding areas have become the main chemical fiber production and business base of the country.Strong downstream processing ability has formed the strong demand for the chemical fiber and its raw material.SHCF is just emerged as the times require.It further expands the industry chain of the Shengze textile industry.
SHCF maps out the short-term plan and long-term goal in the expectation of becoming the important chemical fiber production base. The short-term plan includes two stages:The first-stage project is to construct 200,000tons direct spinning filament plant (including POY,FDY and DTY production lines) and 600,000 tons Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA) plant. The second-stage project will construct 400,000 tons polyester and 400,000 tons filament. When the second-stage construction completes, SHCF will possess the production ability to produce 600,000 tons PTA and 600,000 tons polyester and become the biggest direct-spinning filament production base in China.In 2005,along with the further open of the petroleum market, SHCF will continue to develop and construct 900,000 tons para-xylene plant as well as the auxiliary plants, which will form the whole industry chain from petroleum to chemical fiber, and will make a bigger contribution to the national economy development. |
