Joint-venture Nanjing Fortunate Textile & Fashion Co., Ltd (NFTF) and Nanjing Fortune Garment Co., Ltd are two mated brother type but independent trading and production companies. The former one was set up and started production in 1997 and the later in 2001. The asset is respectively about 400 and 200 thousand US dollars at present. Both of the companies are located in Jiangning, and the production bases are located separetely in Dongshan Town, Jiangning and the Gubai Private Science & Technology Garden , Gaochun, Nanjing We are two middle manufacturers of garment. The two companies are adopting the same management system, sharing the resources of machines, personnel and customers, making the production with complementarity and reasonalization, utilizing the respective advantages of machines and products, maximizing the production capacities. There are total 600 sets of sewing machines and other facility, 20 production lines and more than 750 employees now in both of companies. We have excellent management stuffs, high quality technicians and skilled workers. The main overseas market is for Japan, Korea, EU countries, Canada, US. We are skilled in producing shrink-free pants and all kinds of washed cargo pants series, jeans series, all kinds of down parka and jacket, padding parka and jacket series, etc. In 2001, for NFTF, the direct export value was 1.2 million US dollars and the sales value is four million US dollars (one million piece or set of garment). From 2002, the estimated capacity of our total production (both of two companies) will be expected to two million piece or set and the sales value to nine million US dollars.
