Sanmenxia Dyeing & Printing Mill, Henan Shenli Group, was established in 1965, a single large, state-run and prosperous business in existence. After big scale technical innovations over the years, this mill now possesses 4 production lines for colored goods, 5 for cotton print, and 94 sets of main machinery, 9 of which was 1990's advanced models introduced from Neitherland, Japan, Italy, Switserland and West Germany (with complete auxiliary facilities), thus having the capacity for annually producing 125 million meters long goods. Its primary products include various bleaching, dyeing and printing series of pure cotton, polyester cotton blend, bast cotton blend, man-made cotton and poplin. Furthermore, it also has the special finishing process of roughness grinding, raising, flame retardant, water-proof, static-elctric proof, oil stain resistence, shrinkproof, non-ironing and oil shining. Recently developed imitation wax print (pure cotton), bast cotton blend print, dyed and printed blend of rayon staple and second-rate cotton, and elastic series are largely put into market. The products sell very well not only in 26 regions at home but also in distant America, Southeast Asia, Japan, South Korea and Hongkong.
The enterprise takes up 300 mu of land, and have 1600 workers at its employ. As to the technical power it is fairly substantial (with 168 professionals at middle or advanced levels). In addition, they are aided by sophisticated colorant computers so that they can set styles accurately and effectively. Their measurement, quality control as well as their examination approaches are also strict. Today all the workers are sticking to the motto: "Individual character figures side by side with the quality of products", and aiming at even higher efficiency and still better goods.
And the enterprise, well known in central China, is located at Sanmenxia City, which is in the west Henan Province and just at the southern bank of the Yellow River. To the south west it is Xi'an, and to the north west, it is Taiyuan (two neighboring provinces of Henan). The scenery, both natural and historic, is nice and numerous.
