Anhui Huamao Group Co., Ltd. is located in Anqing City, Anhui Province, which is a famous historical city on the bank of Yangtse River. It is a state-owned enterprise financed exclusively and was authorized to operate by Anqing Government. Now it has total assets of 2.2 billion RMB and has six subsidiary companies dealing with textile, import-export trade, real estate, comprehensive service, knitting and auction.
Anhui Huamao Textile Stock Co., Ltd. is a listed company whose shares are mainly held by our enterprise. It is one of the Chinese 520 National Key Enterprises and has total capital stock of 455,520,000 shares, of which there are 16005 shares in circulation. Huamao Group Co., Ltd. has owned 300,000 spindles, 1893 sets of shuttleless and shuttle looms, and many world-class advanced production lines of automatic coning, double twisting, doubling, the gassing of yarn and thread, mercerizing and bleaching and dyeing. It has the annual production capacity of 35,000 tons of “Chengfeng” brand high-grade pure cotton and polyester cotton yarn of 6--160 centimeters, 1800 tons of gassing and mercerizing yarn, over 6000 meters of “Yinbo” brand high-grade pure cotton gray goods, polyester cotton union gray goods and knitted fabric of 120—360 centimeters. “Chengfeng” brand pure cotton and polyester cotton yarn, thread was appraised by User Committee of China Quality Association as “Satisfied Product of Countrywide Consumers”, obtained the title of “Anhui Famous Brand Product” and was appraise by Japanese traders as “The Example of The Quality of Chinese Cotton Yarn”. Now it has become the supplementary fabric of many international and domestic well-known brands and are enjoying a good reputation in foreign and domestic medium- and high-grade product markets.
Our company always insists on market-orientation and constantly deepens the reform and management of the enterprise. It also insists on the managing concept of focusing on quality, seeking for development with the help of science and technology and constantly fulfilling the needs of our customers. By following the scent of international advanced managing concepts and aims, we have improved the company’s technical and management level further and acquired ISO90012000 and ISO14001 approval. We insist on people-oriented management concept and have established characteristic enterprise management culture and management system in the training, education and life after work of the employees. So far, Huamao has kept gaining profit for consecutive 29 years and has won the title of “100 Enterprises In Anhui With Good Economic Benefit” for consecutive 19 years. In 1995, it ranked 265 in “Top 500 Chinese Industrial Enterprises” and ranked first in national cotton weaving industry. In 2000, for the recommendation of some department, our company has been publicized by central media twice as one of the five examples of national state-owned enterprises. In 2000, the economic benefit index of Huamao ranked in the first place between the domestic cotton weaving enterprises. In consecutive three years--2001, 2002 and 2003, our company was appraised as top 50 Front Soldier Companies (groups) in the ranking of the four economic benefit indexes (sales value, profit tax, created foreign exchange by export, per capita profit tax) of Chinese cotton textile industry, and national excellent enterprise with good management in textile industry and was also praised as “The Handan Iron-Steel Factory in Textile Industry”. In 2003, it became one of the top 500 Chinese enterprises with good information construction. Mr. Hua Guanxiong, our company’s president, won the title of “Chinese Entrepreneurial Enterpriser in 2003” and “National Entrepreneurial prize for Textile Enterpriser”.
