Established in 1966 and starting its operation in 1969, Ningxia Ningyang Cotton Textile Co., Ltd (the formal Yinchuan Cotton Textile Factory) is the only medium-scale cotton textile company in the municipality. The annual yarn output is 35,000 spindles, and other cotton cheese is about 6,000 tons, and each year the company produces two million meters cotton gray cloth as well. The cotton yarn and cotton fabric belong to medium grade products.
