Founded in 1991, Zhangjiagang Yaoling Knitting Co., Ltd. is a joint venture established between US Chinex Corporation and ZJG Warp-Weft Knitting Factory. It lies inside ZJG City, the famous national rank sanitational city. Its registered capital is US $5.6 million. It specializes in producing and selling all kinds of knitted goods and their finished products. The company now has 880 employees and a land area of 29,000 square meters. After the open of the River Alongside Express Way, it will only take one hour to get to Shanghai.
In the past decade, the company has strived to combine scientific technology with industrial production and trade, leading the tide of knitting sector and creating a scale-type enterprise. Now it has become a top enterprise in the East China area.
The main equipment of the company includes some 60 sets of German LIBA high-speed warp initting machines and computer-controlled warp jacquards, 30 sets of imported large circular weft knitting machines and weft jacquards, full line of advanced subsequent accessories such as brushing and printing devices. Therefore, it is able to satisfy different demands from the market.
The annual capacity is about 17.5 million meters of all knids of warp and weft stretch knitted fabrics. The main products are: Lycra stretch fabrics, foil velvet raised fabrics, burn-out fabrics, swimwear and fabrics, Lycra mesh, fabrics for bras, lingeries, underwear and fashionable dresses, TACTEL fabrics, COOLMAX fabrics, SUPPLE fabrics, various washing bag, bathing caps, mantle caps, etc. They have the features of elegance, unique, and grace. They echo the trends of fashion, art and function. All the spandex material is from DUPONT Lycra of USA, therefore, the products have been certificated by DUPONT and have received warm welcome from both domestic and international markets.
In order to adapt to the state policy transformation and get full performance out of the active factors of the enterprise, the company changed into a stock shared company, with a registered capital of USD $750,000. and the company name has changed to "ZJG City Yongxin Knitting Ltd." accordingly. Considering that our original products were mainly grey fabrics, and the finishing and dyeing were carried out in other companies, the stable quality could not be guaranteed. In 2001, the company invested 60 million yuan in establishing ZJG Yongsheng Printing & Dyeing Co., Ltd., which covered a land area of 33,00 square meters. It is designed to produce 35 million meters of finishing 35 million meters of spandex fabrics every year. The equipment includes THIES overflow dyeing vessel, BRUCKNER setting machine, color matching and testing devices from USA, and other relevant finishing devices. The line was put into production in 2002. The products have been certificated by Swiss Textile Testing Institute with the "OEKO-TEX" certificate. It is a great advantage for the the sales of the products in Europe and American markets after China's entry to the WTO.
