Zhangjiagang Shuangyang Polyurethane Yarn Co., Ltd., established in the beginning of 1995 as Zhangjiagang Shuangyang Polyurethane Yarn Factory, is now the largest elastic yarn manufacturer in Jiangsu Province. It is located on Deji Street, Jingang County on the east of Zhangjiagang Bonded Area which is situated inside the Yanjiang Economic Development Zone of Zhangjiagang city has the Yangtze River and Zhangjiagang International Trader Harbor on the north. Its flagship products include polyurethane core-spun yarns; polyurethane wrapped silk and polyurethane wrapped yarns. At present, the company boasts advanced spinning equipment worldwide and achieves annual throughputs of over 11000 tons, 1000 tons and 1000 tons for polyurethane core-spun yarns, polyurethane wrapped fiber and polyurethane wrapped yarns separately. The polyurethane fibers adopted are DuPont Lycra Spandex and PLASTAR of Korea, two ideal polyurethane fibers worldwide for the production of elastic fabrics. The company has been granted the titles such as Top 100 Non-Governmental Enterprises of Zhangjiagang City, a Well-Renowned Enterprise of Jiangsu Province, a Famous Brand and Star Enterprise of Suzhou City. Adhering to the quality principles of "quality is the lifeblood of an enterprise", and "Quality as Basis; Brand Operation; User of Paramountcy; Sincere Service", the company has introduced full sets of check and inspecting equipment for cotton and cotton yarn including cotton foreign matter and water analyzer, cotton yarn strip test instrument and yarn twist test instruments and fiber strength testers. Since the company adopted comprehensive quality control system in 1996, our products have won recognition and favor from buyers in large and medium cities in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Henan, Shandong, Guangdong, Guangxi, and overseas markets such as Europe and USA.
The company was ISO9001: 2000 authorized in the year 2001. Relying on the compliance with stringent world standards, Shuangyang has realized a fast and healthy development. In 2002, the company, to meet the challenges from economic globalization and transnational companies, invested another 40 million RMB and rented another lot of 100 mu or more. At present, the number of quality spindles has risen to 65000, compared to a former 45000 for fore spinning and post spinning. |
