Keda Woollen textile Co.,Ltd. is located in Weichang County, the northest part of Hebei Province. To its north is Inner Mongolia, teeming with stock raising, wool and cashmere output. It is a key production base of wool and cashmere in China.
In the 80s, the former "Chengde Wool Spinning Mill" was founded with the fund from the UN Agriculture Development Fund. At that time the mill was engaged in the production of woollen fabrics. In the reform of the 90s, the mill was turned into a private-run limited liability modern enterprise.
With advanced plan and reasonable deployment, the present Keda company covers an area of 120,000 square meters, including construction area of 28,000 square meters. We now have total fixed assets up to 40 million yuan(RMB) and 1,200 employees. We have the following advanced equipment: 3,600 spindles, 150 sets of looms and a complete line of finishing equipment. For the key procedures, we have imported international advanced devices from Germany, Italy, Japan, Hong Kong, etc. Now we have integrated spinning, weaving, dyeing and finishing and the yearly output of woollen fabrics is 1.5 million meters. The turnover is more than 90 million yuan(RMB). The major products are: fancy suiting, velour, overcoating, rabbit/cashmere, cashmere, alpaca, etc. |
