Founded in 1951, starting to make clothing for export in 1959 and gaining the power to engage in export trade in 1988, Minglu Clothing Group Company ( formerly known as Xinhua Clothing Factory of Shijiazhuang city ) is now an export-oriented enterprise. The company has about 1,200 personnel and over 1,000 pieces of imported equipment. The fixed assets of the company amount to 59.5 million yuan and the gross value of industrial output reaches 50 million yuan. The annual production capacity is 1.8 million articles of clothing. The company pays profits tax of 4 million yuan and earns foreign exchange of $6 million through export annually. It set up foreign office in Australia and realized transnational management. The advanced equipment such as computer embroidery system, computer cutting machines, curing oven, sprayer machine and iron machine according to human body was introduced. Moreover, the company developed pure cotton wrinkle-free series products with the brand of Minglu, among which the Minglu pure cotton wrinkle-proof shirt won the international award and was named as Specially Protected Famous Brand of Hebei province by the provincial government. The pure cotton wrinkle-free series have been exported to Australia, Canada, U.S. and other nations and have won the heart of customers. Minglu was among the first in clothing industry of Hebei province to get the ISO 9002 quality system certification.
