Zhongshan Lida Knitting (Garment Mfg.) Plant Co., Ltd.was first established in 1979 by Mr. Li Jiaohui in Hong Kong with the former name of Hong Kong Lida Weaving Plant.
Then in 1987 after China initiated the reform and opening-up policy, he set up the Zhuhai Lida Knitting Plant in Zhuhai City.
The plant was again moved to Zhongshan City in later 1994 to better meet the demands of domestic and international markets and Zhongshan Lida Knitting Plant was thereafter established with total investment of HKD180 million. The company now covers an area of 40,000 square meters of which 30,000 square meters are for buildings and the staff reaches over 600 people, including 120 technicians.
Taking advanced technologies and scientific management, the company is engaged in manufacturing and sales of a variety of gray fabrics, dyed fabrics, knitted collars, sleeves, jacquard sweater patches, cotton plied threads and herringbone tapes.
There are over 500 sets of equipment in total, including more than 200 sets of large-diameter circular knitting machines, over 100 sets of knitting machines, over 100 sets of advanced Shima Seiki machines, and 150 sets of knitting machines for threads and tapes making. Monthly, the company turns out 1,200 tons of gray knitted fabrics, 150,000 dozen of jacquard collars, 100,000 dozen of ordinary knitted collars, 50,000 dozen of sweater patches and 90 tons of threads and tapes.
