Jiangsu Chamei Corduroy Group Co. is the biggest corduroy production base at home, including corduroy, khaki and velveteen. With a production capability of 100 million meters annually, it is called "the Corduroy King of China". The company''s total assets are RMB 3.5 billion Yuan and RMB 2.5 billion of which belongs to private assets. It has 1280 workers and staffs, plus a senior staff group of technology and management.

Chamei Group is a star enterprise of Jiangsu, whose Chamei brand corduroy has been certified as Famous Brand Product of Jiangsu since 1995. It also gained the honor title of Reliable Product of Customers in 1996. In October of 1997, it achieved the certificate of ISO9002 quality system. The 90% of the Chamei brands are exported to over 30 countries and regions including Europe, Africa, America, Japan, Bangladesh and HK etc. and they have occupied the 25% of the home market shares. |
