Xinjiang Changheng Textile Co., Ltd. was established in 2002, a group company in agricultural industrialization cooperatively invested by State Farm 130 of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps (RMB60 million) and individual investor (RMB15 million). The Company is mainly engaged in purchase and processing, fine variety breeding and cotton spinning industries, with a staff of 2200 people and total fixed assets of RMB 420 million.
The location of State Farm 130 is one of the main production areas for high quality cotton in northern Xinjiang. The Farm covers overall area of 620 sq. km, with cultivated area of 250,000 mu. And production area for high quality cotton covers over 180,000 mu, which makes it the largest producer in NO.7 Division. Cotton here is most featured of high quality, long length fiber and is the ideal material for cotton textiles. By taking advantage of the rich resources, Changheng Textile has established a production chain with cotton materials as the basic and cotton spinning as the pioneer industry, thus connecting market, production base and individual farmers to develop the integrated agricultural industrialization. By specifying responsibility, right and benefit of State Farm, individual farmers and us, Changheng Textile buys bulk cotton materials through purchase orders, and then produces further-processed cotton textiles for the markets. In this way, the production chain is prolonged and the value of agricultural products is also highly improved.
