Established early 1992, Lianyungang Donggang Knitting Co., Ltd. is an export-oriented private owned enterprise for manufacturing knitted garments and has been granted the right for dealing in foreign trade by State Foreign Economic and Trade Commission. Its fixed assets have been increased to RMB 30 million from the RMB 3 million at the beginning and annual output is increased to 2 million pieces from the initial 300,000 pieces. It now earns annual revenue of USD 5 million from export and RMB 50 million of production value compared with no foreign income and RMB 2 million respectively when the company was established.
After 10 years of development, we have attracted numerous capable personnel to join us and now have a staff of more than 1000 employees. As one of the largest manufacturers for knitted sweaters in China. we own about 1000 sets of equipment for knitting. These equipment include 100 sets of 14-needle flat knitting machines, 300 sets of 12-needle flat knitting machines, 100 sets of 9-needle flat knitting machines, 200 sets of 6-7-needle flat knitting machines, 200 sets of 3-3.5-needle flat knitting machines, 100 sets of 1.5-needle flat knitting machines, 280 sets of auxiliary sewing-up machines and 80 sets of equipment for washing, finishing and ironing. In the company, computers are applied in all departments, including manufacturing, administration, finance, storage and trading, and the ISO9002 Certificate application is also under the process of attestation. Due to its excellent performance, the company have been awarded prizes like "Excellent Unit" by different level governments, "AAA Credit Enterprise" by Bank of China, and "Credit Company" and "Model Enterprise for Taxation" by Industrial and Commercial Administration Bureau.
Our products range from woven and knitted garments to decorative articles of woolen, cotton, linen, silk and blending of them. Besides these, we have some special state of the art products by hand-crocheting, hand-embroidering and pin knitting. At present, they are mainly exported to more than twenty countries and regions from United States, England, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea and East Europe.
Donghai County, where the company is located, is the beginning of the Asia-Europe Continental Bridge and is 10 kms away from Liangyungang Airport, 80 kms from Linyi Airport of Shandong Province and 40 kms from Lianyungang Port. In addition, the Longhai Railway also runs through the county. All these offer great convenience of transportation for the company. |
