Jilin Chemical Fiber Group Co., Ltd. is a reorganization of Jilin Chemical Fiber Factory, which is set up in 1960, and put into production in August, 1964 with its design capability of 3400 tons of viscose staple fiber annually. After many times of reform and extension, the annual output reached 10826 tons in 1984.
Since 1985, under the leading of the new leader team directed by Mr. Fu Wancai, the company got a rapid development. The total industrial output value reached 1657.81 million yuan (RMB) in 1999 from the 45.51 million yuan (RMB) in 1985, increased by 3500%. And the total asset increased 10500%, from 38.05 million yuan (RMB) to 4000 million yuan (RMB).
Now, we are able to produce four classifications, 66 kinds of products from the only one-viscose staple fiber in the past. The annual yield of JCFGC is about 35,000 tons viscose staple fiber, 60,000 tons acrylic fiber, 22,000 tons viscose filament yarns and 40,000 tons of chemical dissolving paper pulps, among which the former three are the No. 1 in the country. In 1994, the company was listed as one of the 100 selected enterprises in the country, one of the 520 important enterprises and one of the 33 key enterprises which have supports from the nation during the tenth Five-Years by the National Economic Trade Committee.
We have 11442 employees, among which 31 senior, 296 middle and 841 junior professionals of technology and management.
