Luo Lai was established in 1992 and has achieved rapid growth and has established a substantial Chinese domestic market penetration and is currently represented in over 700 retail outlets throughout China. Although we are a young company we have established ourselves as a unique in China due to our concentration on product development and research and currently have over 50 staff engaged in our product development and design group, as well as a substantial ongoing financial commitment in to product development. As we are an independent company we are able to act freely and quickly to respond to market needs and we are able to draw from the full palette of textile availability and concepts in our product development.
Luo Lai is committed to the premium end of the market spectrum and as such we are committed to quality in all aspects of product, delivery, business and staff relationships and the company has qualified to ISO 9001 for several years. A new headquarters including, marketing, sales, design, research & development and administration is to be conveniently established in downtown Shanghai (near Peoples Square) in April 2004.
Our manufacturing plant facility is located in Nantong and has recently been redeveloped on a new site allowing for a fourfold increase in capacity with 100,000 square meters (1.1 M square feet). The current workforce is 1200 of highly skilled and dedicated workers in excellent working conditions. We maintain a strong commitment to investing in the latest technology to continuously improve our capability and adopt advanced manufacturing techniques including imported computer controlled quilting and embroidery and specialized sewing equipment for highly detailed finishes.
Our product range selection in terms of variety and quality fabrics and product confection is unique and our youth and energy is directed towards consistently achieving international standards in all of our activities.
