Cotton growing in Kuitun City where the company is located can be dated as far as 40 years ago. The Kuitun cultivation area is sufficient in heat and lighting resources due to the continent climate in the high-latitude region, which is characterized by little rain and dryness. Because there is much less diseases and insect pests, the cotton grown here is purely white in color and good in fiber length and is counted as the best cultivation area for cotton among the four cotton-growing areas in China.
The "Jin Brand" cotton is now very popular in both domestic and foreign markets.
At present, the "Jin Brand" cotton includes Series 5, Series 7 and Series 8, which have obvious advantages as compared with others. (General Tenacity: about 85000P, Micronaire: 3.5~4.5, Maturity: about 1.6, Short fiber content: 12% Sugar content: light or little, Profiled fiber: almost not) The tenacity and length of Series 7 can reach 90000-93000P and 31-33mm respectively. The yarn spun here is even and few in ties. Statistics by the plant show that combed yarn of 40 or higher counts for knitting is best welcomed by customers.
For packing, we adopt 2 different standardized packages, namely 40mm*60mm*80mm and 53mm*140mm*70mm.
In the "2000 Quality Inspection for Chinese Commodities" carried out by China Commodities Institute and China Quality Institute in June 2000, "Jin Brand" was listed among the "Top 10 Brands in Textile Industry".
In March 2001, the company was elected as one of the members of the Standing Committee of the State Bureau of Quality and Technological Supervision. |
