Detailed Trade Lead Description

Dear Sir,

We own a tailor shop in Sri Lanka which makes tailor made shirts for
european customers (made-to-measure).
We are interested in purchasing shirting fabrics for delivery to the tailor shop according to the following specifications:

1. Thread count / Weight
We are looking for fabrics with 80/2 and 100/2 thread count.
Alternatively, 100-150 g/m2 weight
Oxford cotton fabrics is also interesting.

2. Finishing
For cotton fabrics, easy-iron finishing is preferable.

3. Width
We prefer 60" width, but others will be considered

4. Materials
We are looking for two different qualities, one with 100% pure cotton fabrics, and one with either 65/35 Cotton/Poly blend or 80/20 cotton/poly blend. Cotton should always be the major part of the fabric and always at least 65%.

5. Cotton
Raw Cotton should be preferably Egyptian cotton or any cotton with a staple-length over 1 1/4" for the 100% cotton fabrics.

6. Dyeing
All fabrics should be yarn-dyed, NOT printed.

7. Designs
The designs must fit the european market. We are looking for solid colors as well as pattern designs.

8. Availability
All fabrics must be in stock or reproduceable so that we can order more at any time with short delivery time to Sri Lanka.

9. Quantity
This time: 100-200 yards of each design. 20-30 different designs wanted. In future: More! Remember this could be the start of a long-term profitable relationship.

10. Price
We expect Poly/Cotton Blends to cost $0.68 - $0.90 / metre FOB.
Pure cotton (100%) around $1.00 - $1.40).
For fabrics of extremely high quality, we can consider slightly higher prices.

11. Samples
Sample feeler swatches should be sent via courier to us.
